The film is expected to premiere at the L’espace Vietnam in Hanoi in early October. Also at this screening venue, the audience will have the opportunity to interact with the characters and the crew working on the film to understand more about the journey and the process of the work.
The premiere of the film in Can Tho is expected to take place in an old communal house with the participation of a large number of local people. We look forward to this as a tribute to the people and places where we started our journey and took the first shots of the project.
We also hope to bring attention of a variety of audiences in the society to the disappearing of Tuong as a traditional art form and promote discussion around what we can do to preserve these intangible heritage.
In Saigon, scheduled screenings will take place at IDECAF at the beginning of November 2020. This is also the last public screening of ROUND 1 in our project. the screening also temporarily closes ROUND 1 in the journey to bring the film to the audiences.
